Step back in time and visit a high mountain encampment. Meet colorful characters in costumes from the period spanning the French and Indian Wars through the North American fur trade era. See demonstrations of primitive skills, tipis, tomahawk and knife throwing, music, clothing, target shooting and archery. Fun for the whole family! Visitors welcome, with or without period costumes. Watch for the Red Buffalo signs at Mesa Grande Road and Highway 79. The Rendezvous is .5 miles up Mesa Grande Road.
